Pea Microgreens Smoothie

Smoothie aux micro-pousses de pois
What could be better than a vitamin-packed smoothie to start the day on the right foot?
Especially when, as in this case, it’s quick and incredibly easy to prepare!
 
To make this recipe, all you need is a blender, some seasonal fruits and vegetables, and a handful of fresh microgreens of your choice — and you’re good to go.
 
Tip:
This smoothie uses pea microgreens, but you can easily replace them with radish, beet, or amaranth microgreens, which also have a naturally mild and slightly sweet flavor.
Ingredients
 
1 apple
 
1 cucumber
 
1 lime
 
1 kale leaf (or a few kale leaves)
 
A handful of pea microgreens (or microgreens of your choice)
Instructions
 
Slice the cucumber and lime into rounds.
Cut the apple into quarters.
Place all ingredients in a blender, adding the kale leaves, pea microgreens, and a glass of water.
 
Blend until smooth — and enjoy!
